The older I get, the more I look forward to becoming an eccentric aunt. You know, the kind who dresses in tie-dyed t-shirts, tutus, rainbow striped socks, and high-top Chucks. Or, maybe the kind who wears one of those flowy muumuu-like dresses with a big hat and tons of chunky jewelry. Gena Rowland’s role in “Hope Floats” comes to mind. Yeah, I think I’d like that. Alas, I am not a Free Spirit. (And yet, I vow to turn pirouettes in my kitchen with my grandchildren someday!) I do envy the Free Spirits, though.
