Will they create an inseparable bond like she had with Leon?

“Hard Break” hits on every emotion. Readers will be crying, laughing and hugging their families after reading this fifth installment in the “Deadlines and Diamonds” series. Still it stands alone very nicely, taking readers through many, real and relatable human experiences. The storyline gently introduces each character with uniqueness that immediately captures the reader. The children in this story truly steal the show and the portrayal of love from a potential step parent proves that it can be as good as the real thing. The connection and bond Ian shares with the children as friends first, creates a foundation that builds a loving relationship and adds to the adult drama. Minor editing errors are easily overlooked while escaping on this heartfelt journey.
