Heavenly Desire (Elemental Sisters #3)

Clyde is a guardian angel tasked with reuniting Jade Ashley with her long lost sisters. They’re Elementals, immortals, and according to a prophecy they’ll determine the outcome of the upcoming war between good and evil.

Ashley had a rough childhood - which translates into trust issues and her having low self-esteem. She’s always longed for her own family though, so she joins Clyde on his quest to reunite her with her sisters. Meanwhile, Clyde struggles with the pull he feels toward her. Angels aren’t supposed to fall in love, yet he can’t help but feel like Ashley belongs with him. But if he wants to be with her, he might lose his wings.

This is the third book in the series, and it might be best to start with the first one. Although it can be read as a stand-alone, this could lead to some confusion, especially regarding the world-building and mythology. Both Ashley and Clyde have their strong points, and both are passionate and caring. The plot with the sisters is entertaining and has a few surprises, but the romance itself borders on a cliché, with the whole forbidden romance angle, and the consequences if they do fall in love.
