The second book in the Cauld Ane series, “Bound by Fire” is a great read for any paranormal romance lover who is looking for something new that isn’t angels, vampires, or werewolves. This can be read as a standalone or sequel, with a new race, the Cauld Ane, introduced and explained smoothly. Pepper is full of spunk and determination, yet her fear is real and pulls in the reader. Connall is an alpha male, determined to protect Pepper but just as willing to stand by her side when she chooses to fight. The villain of the story is well written and perfectly freaky. This is one story, one series, readers won’t be able to put down!
