SUSPENSE/THRILLER:  Season lost her parents at a young age, and was raised by her grandfather on the property she inherited from her parents – beautiful acres of land that she loves to explore and photograph. One day, Season’s explorations bring her face to face with a mountain lion.

Her savior comes in the form of Rann Brogan, a handsome, charming man who works as a land surveyor for his mother’s land development company. Although he’s had no issues with the company’s policy and ruthlessness so far, he begins to have second thoughts when he becomes captivated by Season. No longer interested in her land, but all the more interested in her, Rann has some tough choices to make – because his mother wants that land, no matter what. And she will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

Season and Rann certainly don’t have it easy. Their attraction to one another is instant, but it takes a lot of time and struggles for them to get a happy ever after. Season and Rann are both strong, energetic characters, easy for the reader to relate to. The book’s biggest downside was the villain. It was easy to decipher who would be the villain and why, and what would happen next. Despite that, it’s a romance novel with a heavy dose of mystery thrown in, and certainly provides for an unforgettable read!
