When the six heirs set their sights on Cassandra Knightsbridge and her unusual habit of riding alone and shooting to turn the gossip away from the Pact, they assume the gossip will merely distract from them, but while Edwin slowly falls in love with the lady, the gossip is growing, and by the time he’s ready to woo the lady, a disaster of his own making might be beyond control. 

A sweet and humorous historical romance, this book is everything lovers of this genre adore! While the title and cover are a bit misleading, this story includes all the usual tropes, lords and ladies of the ton, gossip, scandal, etc. but in the best way. The hero is dashing but humble, the heroine is quick-witted and beautiful but also strong. The romance itself is an actual clean, slow-building love, and essentially the lack of unique or unusual features will not prevent one bit of enjoyment. Overall, fans of this genre will not only enjoy reading this book but will wish the next five books were already out!
