Crazy About You

Chase Anderson is successful and has a job he loves. As an accomplished climate scientist, he's more concerned with warning the world about the dangers of climate change than he is with finding love. Besides, spending 40 plus weeks at sea doesn't leave him with a whole lot of free time to devote to that one special lady. Enter Emma Maguire, a sinfully attractive woman who quite literally knocks him for a loop. When Emma and Chase's first date leads to the discovery of a body washed ashore, they team up to uncover a mystery that goes deeper than either of them could guess. If they don't find out what's really going on, and soon, someone else may wind up dead.

"Crazy About You" is an imaginative mix of seedy underworld dealings, sweet romance and political intrigue. The characters and the locations are richly described and readers will love getting lost in this fun and flirty story. Ms. O’Sullivan goes to great lengths to explain Chase's job and the scientific aspects of climate change but does so in a way that never feels overbearing or too technical. Although the tale starts off slowly, the pace picks up exponentially and careens towards a stunning finish. The many layers of this tale are bound to keep one interested and invested in the story. However, Chase's refusal to take Emma at her word regarding her relationship with Tony does start to wear thin after a while. This is a great summer read with a twist, highly recommend!
