The world of Bra’dune is in darkness and chaos. Children are going missing and later turning up dead from gruesome methods. Mor’reius Krelsin has been hired to learn the truth about these murders and discover the purpose behind them. The deeper his investigations take him, the more he realizes he might have bitten off more than he can chew. Bra’dune is far more fractured and tainted than he thought. Even the sky seems to be falling apart. A monster has appeared that can wield the power of all the elements. Somehow it is on his shoulders to vanquish this creature before the whole world is destroyed.

Mr. Centeno has created an epic fantasy world that is vivid and easy to get lost inside! The details of his world building are incredible, and he has made a world that spins the usual fantasy tropes into something unique! In Mor’reius, the novel has a strong hero. He has integrity and personality, taking on the evils of Bra’dune as a mercenary. Mr. Centeno has done a great job not just building up the setting, but also the characters as well. As vast and well detailed as Bra’dune is, sometimes it can be a bit too detailed, causing the pacing to noticeably slow down. Some of the names are also quite complicated, but the narrator of the audiobook thankfully takes care of that. The plot is full of twists and turns that will keep readers on the edge of their seats!

Mr. Proczko gives a powerful performance that matches the energy of the novel! His character portrayals are all diverse and full of raw emotion, making the dramatic moments more real. Through his performance, the sluggish parts feel a little more on-pace. Mixed into the recording are sound effects and music. Sometimes those elements are distracting or awkward, and other times they pack a powerful punch. Overall, it’s a great listen that is well produced! This is a great book for fans of epic fantasy and rich worlds!
