Genre:
Historical

When Ruari Ross finds an injured woman in the forest, he has no idea that she is going to change his life. He wants to get married, but he does not want to fall in love. Esme Fraser hates the idea of marrying a Ross, and she has succeeded in avoiding being wed until now. When she is wounded and left for dead, the man who saves her stirs something inside her. When she discovers that the man is the Ross that is going to be her husband, everything changes. When an army attacks and a war appears imminent, will the lovers be able to maintain their relationship?

Hildie McQueen has written an awesome Highland Romance that fans will thoroughly enjoy. There are multiple engaging and varied characters. Esme is such a headstrong young woman who will resonate hard with readers, and Ruari a strong, hot blooded male with a little bit of sensitivity. It is a very good match. The action scenes practically jump off the page, and the sex scenes will have those e-readers being used as fans. There is just the right amount of tension mixed with well thought out dialogue. This is a gem of a book and one that will keep the heat up on the cold nights of winter. “A Flawed Scotsman” is a fantastic addition to the Clan Ross series. Don’t let this one pass you by! You absolutely won’t regret it.
