Eternal Paths

Hallie York has wanted to travel to London her whole life, drawn by dreams and an unexplained need. Wandering into an antique shop, she uncovers some old journals with a mysterious history and meets the owner, Graham McCoy, who strangely has a bird-shaped birthmark on his wrist to match her own. Unfortunately Graham is a recent divorcee and isn’t ready for fate to introduce him to the beautiful tourist. However, as the journals begin to reveal their secrets, Hallie and Graham are set on a journey to uncover the truth about a pair of ghostly lovers separated in the afterworld but determined to be reunited. To help the pair Hallie and Graham will have to team up. Will the ghosts be the only ones to find love or has fate brought the duo together for a reason?

A paranormal romance set in England and full of steam, “Eternal Paths” is also full of mystery and uncontrollable lust spurred by a pair of ghostly lovers. Although the mystery often leads Hallie and Graham in circles and the answer is rather abrupt, there are some interesting paranormal elements such as ghosts, curses, and reincarnation to keep the reader intrigued. However, the plot is disjointed at times and somewhat confusing, held together and motivated mostly by lust. Further, the conflict itself is based on confusion and miscommunication. Still, the premise is interesting and the romance steamy, making this a possible win for some lovers of paranormal romance.
