Isn’t it wonderful when someone you have idolized for years turns out to be just as amazing in real life as you always imagined? That is exactly what happened when I finally got to meet and visit with Susan. I have loved her books and watched her from afar for years before I finally got the nerve to actually ask her for an interview. Man, am I glad I did! She was so gracious and fun!
For our most devoted readers, this face may seem familiar. Bob was featured in the very second magazine we ever published! Yep, he has been a friend of InD’tale for that long.
I think every book-lover has a few moments in time they will never forget, like when they pick up a book that changes their life. One of those moments for me was when I picked Maria V. Snyder’s “Poison Study” off the Costco book table years ago. She was a relative unknown at the time and I was a young mother with little time to read.
As you can obviously see, Laura Thalassa has the face of an angel.
Wow! Have you ever casually spoken to someone only to find there is so much more to them than you ever realized? That is exactly my experience with Claire Contreras. I originally sat down to chat with her thinking she was a beautiful lady who writes wonderful stories. It only took a minute, however, to realize the true depth and beauty we have all been missing!
