The fifth book in the “Fire Maidens” series, lovers of this series will know what is coming. Grace is an intriguing character, her ancestry of witches and shifters making her magic new and different. She is a strong-minded woman and extremely kindhearted. Finn is… delicious; a sexy, strong and protective dragon shifter with a great sense of humor. The secondary characters are delightful and add much to the story. The plotline is somewhat predictable, as inevitably the Lombardi’s show up trying to capture the Fire Maiden. Nevertheless, the author’s skill with descriptions bring the beauty and majesty of Ireland to startling life, making the reader feel as if they’re sequestered in Ballyfianna with its magic and mystical creatures. A fast-paced and enjoyable tale from cover to cover!
