An intriguing foray into the delicate genre of time travel, this standalone novel in the Saint’s Grove series is a delight to read! First you have a set of characters that transcend time, literally. They are not just one couple, they are multiple couples set in the foundation of being soul mates. Throughout time they will continue to find each other. Ms. Marion crafted exquisite characterizations for each time frame. Even the antagonist is an adeptly crafted character that makes a strong impression. The dialogue between the characters is deliciously seductive, enriching their existence. The plot is solid and the flashbacks intertwine easily into the tale making this a fast read that leaves the reader wanting more. Thankfully there are a number of Saint’s Grove novels (and in an interesting twist, written by other authors) awaiting the reader’s interest.
