SCI-FI:  On the sixth day, the seven began to fall. In the time span of a week, seven lives were lost to the spectrum of color. Green, Red, Orange, Blue, Yellow, Indigo, and Violet. The colors of the rainbow landed on earth and for seven days they gave their unique gifts to a band of humans. All things must come to an end, and on the seventh day the spectrum collapsed. One by one the colors fall, until only two are left standing. Can the strongest take them home at last or will they forever be lost, their light snuffed?

The Color series is an exploration of emotional attachment and the affect it has on the human mind. The reader will easily attach to the delightful characters, watching each grow exponentially. The conclusion brings a time of final decisions, life altering choices; and Ms. Webb does a fine job of bringing each plot line to a point of closure. The end could have been a doorway to another book, which would not have been rejected. The finale started with an explosion, and essentially ended that way; with times of slowness. These pauses allowed the reader to catch their breath, as they too let go of the characters they love. Tears will be involved as the final pages turn.

A minor point of concern is the multiple noticeable errors in editing. A final once-over would have brought this episode to the shining conclusion it could have been. Thge overall series is worthy of a solid 4 stars.
