Wrapped Up in You

Per North Pole tradition, Princess Jenny Claus has three weeks to choose her husband (and new Santa) from thirty suitors. Unfortunately, Jenny isn’t too thrilled about her choices - and even worse, a lot of the elves at the North Pole aren’t thrilled about her. Needing to protect her parents and fulfill her duty, Jenny is resigned to picking her best option from the thirty when Logan Moss crashes his plane into the toy factory. Not only has he put Christmas in jeopardy, but he has lost his memory as a result of the crash.  Jenny is drawn to the pilot and tries to help Logan, even as she attempts to wade through the Santa candidates. Since Logan can’t remember if he’s married or not and Jenny can't decide on a Santa, she is now faced with another choice - duty or love?

A sweet Christmas story, “Wrapped Up in You” ends too soon! Jenny is uncertain of herself, whereas Logan is confident but missing key memories. With duty and love pulling at them both, this story has a quick pace, clean romance, and plenty of expectations to build conflict. While the ending is expected, there are a few twists to keep it interesting. Even with the magic and interesting cast of characters, the story lacks the depth to give the story the "oomph" needed to make the plot heart-wrenching or tense. Still, the setting and background would be great for a series and, while the story lacks depth in plot and characters, it more than makes up for it with pure fluffy romance. Overall, this is a must read for lovers of holiday stories!
