SCI-FI/PARANORMAL:  Irina and her variant friends are in trouble. After their attempt to publicly expose Innoviro Industries' plot to destroy the world goes south, they are left with the help of a few new allies and even more enemies to stop if they want to save humanity. Desperate to save her sister Gemma, Irina is willing to do anything it takes, but can the group stop Ivan and the mysterious creature possessing him from releasing the Terra Nova virus and destroying humanity, or will Ivan’s plans to reinvent the planet unravel faster than they can stop it and leave them with no one left to save?

The third NA book in “The Variant Conspiracy” series, “Terra Nova” is full of action and dystopian adventure as Irina, her twin Ilya, and their friends jet around the planet trying to stop Innoviro and alien creatures. With a quick pace and plenty of tension, “Terra Nova” will keep the reader hooked, despite the character’s lack of depth and the rushed ending. Readers who enjoy X-men-type tales will further get a kick out of the interesting powers and abilities the characters throw around, even as they rush around without a wise “Professor Xavier” type to guide them or their actions. This often leads to clubbing-type segues that detract some from the adventure. Still, with plenty of young adult and family drama, light romance, and tons of action, “Terra Nova” is a must read for Dystopian lovers.
