After Darrell Henshaw wrongfully loses his job as a teacher and football coach—also causing him to lose his girlfriend—he runs to Cape May to coach football camp for the summer of 1999. However, Darrell is unable to escape all of his troubles in Cape May. He is “sensitive”—he can see ghosts, and a mysterious female ghost in a white dress asks him for his help.

Millicent Winthrop, her husband Alfredo Martolini, and their two Boston Terrier detectives, Holmes and Watson, are hot on the trail of another mystery! Mr. Smythe, their boss, and a retired Scotland Yard detective, has enlisted the help of Millicent and her crew to find Brian, a goalie who has disappeared in Germany.

Kevin Densmore, a businessman and Wickham Art Center board chair, wants to meet with private detective Red Farlow regarding a recent murder. Red arrives at the Wickham mansion’s pottery studio only to find Densmore dead. Bodies begin to pile up, and Red discovers medieval daggers are the murder weapon of choice, not only for Densmore, but also for the others.

Jill Morrell receives some shocking news - her father, who is in prison for murder, has gifted her a fishing boat. Jill can’t understand why, and worst of all, her father does not want her contacting him either. Jill gives up her job as the Drone Division Supervisor for Baldur Industries, leaving everything behind.

Katarina Jones is a private investigator who has one last case to solve, and she’s running out of time to do it. A series of arson cases has arisen, and she’s been tasked with finding the culprit. Also drawn to the crimes is Fire Marshal Shawn Randal who is visiting from the other side of the country, just to investigate the fires.
