COZY PARANORMAL MYSTERY: When Bernadette Maxwell returns home from an eventful, accident-filled vacation, she finds more than she bargained for. Bernadette, or Bernie as her friends and family call her, owns and manages an Inn she established in the house her grandmother Ruby left her. As Bernie carries on her daily routine, she suddenly hears a ghostly voice and can see Ruby, her eccentric and free-spirited grandmother. Ruby informs Bernie that one of her guests is dead and to call the cops. The cops rule it a homicide, and Bernie is the main suspect. Bernie and Ruby know they have to find the real killer. As Bernie and Ruby start to investigate the murder, Bernie starts receiving threatening phone calls.  As they hunt down the murderer and the person threatening Bernie, hilarity ensues. Everyone is a suspect, even the townspeople. Will the spirited duo catch the killer?  

The reader will find themselves laughing and turning pages to follow along with the adventures of Bernie and Ruby as they try to search out a killer - and not get themselves killed in the process. The author has created characters throughout the book that are well-rounded and really add to the story. Readers will find this story not just a fun page turner filled with mystery and suspense, but will enjoy the relationship between a grandmother and her granddaughter. The depth the family storyline brings to the book helps the reader fall in love with the characters even more. Readers will lose sleep reading this tale to catch a killer that may be a surprise! Completely unputdownable!
