HISTORICAL:  Hollin Hughes is beautiful, a mother of a darling baby girl, and widowed after her husband dies in suspicious circumstances at the local mine. Unfortunately, the mine manager seems to be hiding things, and her beauty is a distraction from uncovering the truth. So, she whips up a disguise as an ugly elderly woman and hires on as the mine cook to investigate.
