Drake, the Duke of Ravenscar, feels tremendous pressure to make the Chadwick Theatre a big success. Having booked the premiere ballerina Mademoiselle Taglioni for the theatre’s opening, Drake is feeling confident. However, the famous dancer bails on him, at the eleventh hour.
