Blind Date Collection (A Timeless Romance Anthology Book 18)

Annette Lyon, Sarah M. Eden, Heather B. Moore,
Victorine E. Lieske, Rachel Branton, Sariah Wilson

This anthology has three historical novellas and three contemporary novellas, an excellent mix. Not all of the stories have a blind date involved; there are a couple that have the generic meeting of two people as well as an introduction by parents. The novellas are unconnected and each stands alone. Two of the historical novellas are set in the 1800s and one is set in the early 1900s. The contemporary novellas are set in modern times. Whether or not readers are a fan of historical or contemporary, they will enjoy this anthology. There is something for everyone!

Each story is different with characters that readers will be able to relate to. The authors have excelled at setting the scenes, particularly where the historical novellas are concerned. Each author has managed to encapsulate the historical surroundings, dialogue and setting. It is clear that the authors have done their research with regard to where their books are based. It is also clear that the authors for this anthology were chosen for their talent and ability to produce well written and enjoyable romances. There is a lot of diversity in this book, and bringing the historical and contemporary stories into the same place gives the reader a variety rather than sticking with one specific genre. Readers have a romantic treat-filled read with this excellent anthology!
