The connection and attraction between them is sizzling and steams up the pages as their relationship becomes stronger. The descriptions of the times and the scenery are beautiful and very realistic, easily submersing the reader in the tale. The author does a great job in keeping one in suspense as to who is responsible for the danger! When one thinks they knows who it is, Ms. Greyson throws in a twist that will leave one guessing yet again! “The Bard” is Book 5 in the Highland Heroes and can be read as a stand-alone, but the reader would find it must more enjoyable if the previous stories have been read. If you are a fan of medieval historical romances, “The Bard” is a must read!
