Second Chances: Pieces of Us Book 2

CHICK-LIT:  The ladies are at it again! Author Rose Caldwell is going on a book tour, and her BFFs Kat, Jenny and CB will be going along as moral support. Once again they find themselves traveling in Gypsy, a hippie bus that, at least this time, has been renovated with the comforts of home. As they travel up the East Coast, their friendship will prove once again that family is not only by blood, but of the heart. All four ladies will deal with different issues such as jealous, mean-spirited women, abusive boyfriends, and an ex husband with a grudge. All of them will deal with their problems head on with humor and grace. 

Ms. Miller is a freaking genius at humor and dialogue. Her realistic grasp on the female friendship is incredible. “Second Chances” takes off right where “Pieces of Us” left off and stands fairly well on its own, but to understand the full grasp of each character, read book one first. The only criticism this reviewer could find is that the book tour itself gets lost towards the end, but it doesn’t detract from the story as it is small plot point. The relationship between the four women is front and center, and one that the reader will wish she is a part of. This story will make one LOL, snort and feel as they are one of the friends in this dynamic group of women! Kudos Ms. Miller…you now have a fan for life!
