Bree Stone is a graduate student looking for an internship for her next semester. The clock is ticking but she has no prospects. Clint McCarthy’s dreams of being called up to a pro hockey team have finally come true. As members of the Belltown Six-Pack Sibling Club (named after their famous baseball-playing siblings), Bree and Clint are reunited at a college basketball game. As Clint’s career takes off, so does his relationship with Bree. Bree finds herself navigating the unknown-to-her world of hockey while wondering how the Belltown Six, especially her brother, will react to news of her new relationship. When news comes that Clint’s old hockey club is in danger of closing its doors for good, Bree jumps into action, and just may have found a new career path.

If readers are looking for an exceptionally written clean romance with a side of sports, this is it. Don’t know anything about hockey? Neither does Bree, and there is enough beginner terminology to help readers out along the way, so no worries there. Romance lovers who do not love sports will still love this book. This is a book about finding love in unexpected places, achieving goals and finding yourself along the way with the help of family and friends. The romance aspect is so sweet and will leave readers with a contented sigh more than once.  Not only that, there is enough mention of the Belltown Six (another series by these authors) that will be hitting the to-read piles everywhere, this reviewer included. Hockey fan or not, this is a series clean romance readers will want more of!
