RURAL ROMANCE:  Dusty is enraged when city-slicker Blaise runs over one of her ewes. She lets him know it, too. Blaise isn’t used to the country but there’s something about Dusty that he just can’t get out of his mind. As they spend more time together, they find themselves growing close. However, the road to romance isn’t going to be an easy one. Blaise has some serious competition for Dusty’s affections and it’s not going to be easy, but he’s determined to come out the victor and sweep Dusty off her feet.

As modern romances go, this book follows the familiar story of an out-of-towner who is completely out of place in the country and finds romance. There are some very charming aspects to this book and the setting and descriptions are excellent. Dusty is a strong, independent woman who can see past the charms of city-boy Blaise but once they get through one another’s armor, there is a lot of lust. The story flows well apart from a couple of instances where it slows down and could have gone better. A lovely modern romance, good for a quiet night with a glass of one’s favorite beverage.
