Laura is strong, smart, and caring, the kind of character everyone can cheer for. Marco is the definition of a brooding hero. Their journey through Portugal is intense and the settings are vivid, making this book a great way to travel vicariously through the characters! Some of the story elements are familiar to other books in the series, giving it a similar vibe to previous installments. That being said, there are also some wonderful twists and turns that make it refreshing.

Ms. Osborne does a magnificent job of bringing the characters to life. Each emotion feels raw and real, and each character is distinct in tone, as well as personality. Her performance is full of energy that makes the experience that much more exciting! Through her captivating voice, readers will become enthralled and have a hard time stopping!

This is the perfect novel for fans of shifters, bodyguards, and epic adventures!
