ROBYN PETERMAN: I originally met Robyn a few years ago at an intimate meet-n-greet. So, I kept quiet and watched as she joked and visited with each and every person in the room like they were old friends.

InD: You have such a great story, Karen! What brought you to the point where you started writing “seasoned” [age 40 and over] heroines and heroes?
I first met Tessa years ago when she was just an up-and-coming new star and I was working in traditional publishing. I found her to be a little shy and soft-spoken but surprisingly witty, warm and fun to be around once we started gabbing.
Although all authors incorporate some of themselves in their stories, few pop out as feisty and fun as the characters they write like Gemma Halliday.
