InD: I’ve read that you grew up in Ghana.
NM:
I was born here in the States. My dad was getting his PhD at the time. Soon after, though, they headed back to Ghana. We came back to the States when I was six, and from that point on, we went back and forth during the summer.
InD: Was it your mom and/or dad who had family in Ghana?

Aside from enjoying an absolutely delightful visit with Elise Kova, I learned some extremely valuable wisdom that has helped me better understand, not only the author, but the incredible world of Young Adult fantasy that has completely taken over the universe!

I’ll admit, before I was introduced to Bec McMaster’s books, I really didn’t have any interest in the genre of Steampunk. Sure, I loved her paranormal but mechanical magic in Victorian England? Eeeh... BUT after just one book from this amazingly creative and gifted author, I was hooked!

Every once in a while, one comes across an author who can not only tell the most riveting of stories, but whose actual written words are an absolute beauty to read. That is Amy Harmon.  I was first caught in her almost poetic paragraphs while devouring her addicting stories!

How would it be to have all your dreams come true? Well, according to Heather, more fabulous than believable, and more frustrating than imaginable. And, she should know! Her life has taken turns that even the best of us would marvel at.
