InD'Introduces: Skye McNeil!

Skye
McNeil

Skye McNeil lives in Central Iowa where she and her daughter raise two cats and a dog. The duo often sing along to Disney movies, binge-watch Friends, and ride their bicycles along Iowa’s beautiful trails. Skye comes from a performing arts and musical background. Her grandparents, once YouTube and Good Morning America stars for their bellringing at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, encouraged her to pursue writing on a professional level.  Skye went into the legal field to better understand the court system and works as a paralegal.
Her first published romance in 2015 led the way for her Amazon best-selling series, The Mobster Files. The series debut won Favorite Law Romance and Favorite Law Romance Author in 2017 and the sequel won her the title of third Favorite Romantic Suspense Author in 2018.  In addition to romantic suspense, Skye writes contemporary romance that encompass humor, wit, and a swoon-worthy happily ever after. Since her debut, Skye has published nine novels with more on the horizon. She also writes under an alias,     Tessa Robertson, for thrilling, dark romance lovers with two novels published.
Skye’s style includes characters whose imperfections make them perfect for each other. Recently published titles include Credence and Oceans Away with an upcoming release of her highly anticipated Macha motorcycle club book, Doc T. Readers can expect twists and turns along with emotional rollercoasters and steamy interludes between the pages of her books. Readers stay up all night to find out what happens next in Skye’s The Mobster Files and emotional tears have been shed over her Atlas series. Skye offers readers something different in the romance genre that keep them coming back for more.
Along with writing, Skye’s passions include animals, spending time with family, exercising, and exploring the world around her. As a bookworm, she enjoys reading her favorite author, Jane Austen, and cozying up in front of the fireplace on rainy days. Skye often writes with her Siamese cat, Boots, and her tabby cat, Fiona, on her lap while her Australian Shepherd, Klaus, lounges nearby. Inspiration for the dog in Oceans Away came from Klaus and his loveable antics. Additionally, her cats, Boots and Fiona, also inspired the cats in Hearts Abroad and Timberline. Including pets in her novels is essential as her own are always nearby.
Despite being landlocked, Skye McNeil dreams of traveling with her daughter and writing romances inspired by places they visit.
