Daniel Lee Smith is a Writer, Author, and Historian. He has both a BA and MA in History from Southern New Hampshire University and is currently earning his Ph.D. in History with Liberty University. His newest book is 1845-1870: An Untold Story of Northern California  (Chicago: Publication Consultants, 2019). Daniel is currently writing Providence and the North American Indian, a very near-future large-scale historical non-fiction. Mr. Smith is also the creator of a new Christian-based historical TV Series, currently in Phase One of Development. He has written many historically thought-provoking articles published for both the online and print audience, including current contributions to History-Is-Now Magazine (UK) and ConservativeDailyNews.com. Daniel has formerly and currently works in collaboration with many varying entities and people--including organizations such as Providence Foundation, WallBuilders, Christian Entertainment Guild, as well as many others.
Mr. Smith is an Independent Researcher listed with the U.S. National Archives, a Nominated Member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) for outstanding graduate academics and leadership qualities, Voting Member with the Archival Researchers Association (ARA), and Member of the International Association of Professional Writers and Editors (IAPWE). He is an Honorably Discharged U.S. Coast Guard veteran and holds 10 years’ experience in corporate and retail loss prevention, as well as independent theft investigations. He's also been recognized by Harrah's Inc., and the City of New Orleans in 2006 for volunteering in the rebuilding of New Orleans (Commercial District) after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Daniel is happily married to wife Myriah with a loving family and are a non-denominational Christian family living out of Northern California.
Over the course of his own personal experiences, both formal and informal, Mr. Smith has been blessed to share with his readers and followers much information that has been tucked away from the public for some time. Through his own personal travels that have taken him across North America, Daniel’s mission is to bring history to the forefront of modern-day culture and current events from a Biblical Worldview. Daniel’s professional aim is to reach the American public through discussions, private teaching, speaking events, publications, radio, and television.
