Be Mine!

It’s getting close to that time of year again! The time where the holidays are fading, taking the music and clearance sales with them. Everything that screams Christmas or New Year’s Eve—the wrapping paper, Santa dolls, fake snow, plastic champagne glasses and crazy hats—have all gone. Now, we wander through the stores (social distancing, of course) to see red paper hearts, red boxes of chocolate and red flowers all over the place. The world has turned red.
Yes, it’s getting to be the time when romance fills the air, and all this hearts-and-flowers stuff means that we men have no excuses as to why we haven’t remembered what time of year it is.
That’s right, Valentine’s Day is coming—a massive freight train covered in pink and red tissue hearts.
I know I’ve talked about this day before, but every year I find myself doing Internet searches only to find all kinds of new, funny, and odd things available which will definitely add some spice and smiles to the occasion. I’m keeping them PG-13 because I discovered that there are more than a few gifts that are not for the weak of heart. I won’t go there for the sake of our sensitive readers, but if you’re curious, feel free to do your own searches, just be prepared…
