CHICK-LIT:  Faith Carson wakes up only to find she is hovering over her own body lying on a hospital bed. She has no idea how she got there and worst of all, she has no memory of anything, not even her own name. She watches as a handsome man comes to visit and pours his heart out to her. She reasons that this must be her husband. He spends hour after hour with her. She remembers small bits of her life with the help of Nan-Nan, her deceased grandmother, and through watching and listening to the people who come to visit. She is told that she only has one week in which to wake up from her coma or she will die. But first, she needs to be able to reunite her spirit with her body.

This is a fascinating novel that is difficult to put down. The subject matter is unique, addressing what could possibly happen to comatose patients before they wake up. The story is told entirely from the perspective of the Faith's spirit. Most of the novel takes place in the ICU room, yet Faith learns so much floating over Faith-in-the-bed. There are a few missing words here and there, but not enough to detract from this delightful story. This is a romance and mystery rolled into one, surely to enchant any who read this exceptional work!
