Unbearable (A Keystone Novel, Book 3)

Kelsey Martin is an independent, single human living in a world surrounded by shifters—a lot of whom are from the previous two books in the Keystone Novel series by Megan Michelau, which does not need to be read first in order to understand and easily follow “Unbearable.” Kelsey has a strong group of friends, and one of those happens to be a sexy shifter, Tucker Peters. Kelsey and Tucker have developed a durable bond of friendship, but all it takes is one touch and fireworks explode. The Nomads, a group of shifter criminals, are drugging people with a new drug, Shift, so they can add new shifters to their group, and Kelsey’s abusive ex-boyfriend may be at the root of it all. 

Lovers of shifter romance will enjoy “Unbearable” by Megan Michelau. From the onset, the chemistry between Kelsey and long-time friend, Tucker, is explosive and sizzling hot! This story picks up where book two in the Keystone Novel series ends and has a delightful and romantic ‘happily ever after’ sure to melt the reader’s heart. A few things to note: the emotions portrayed by Kelsey and Tucker are, at times, extreme when the situation does not call for such intense reactions. In addition, the lack of final proofreading is glaringly obvious and pulls the reader’s attention from the story throughout by misplaced or missing punctuation and misspelled words. Ms. Michelau will benefit a great deal by investing in a final read through. All in all, a sweet, suspenseful, shifter romance that will bring smiles to the reader’s heart.
