Lure of the Tiger

Jody Monroe is a pro surfer on tour in Maui, but when an opportunity to make a lot of extra money comes her way, she jumps at the chance because her family needs the funds. Unfortunately, she has no idea what she is getting involved with. When a gunman shoots at her during a party, a strong mysterious man swoops in to save her. Having no other choice, she puts her safety in his hands. Cruz Khala is a tiger shifter, and the moment he sees Jody, he knows she is his destined mate, even if she is a human. He may have been sent to kill her, but his instincts tell him she is innocent, so he takes her back to his home to keep her safe while he investigates the threat. How can he explain to Jody that he is a shifter and explain her destiny without scaring her away?

“Lure of the Tiger” is a fast-paced story filled with danger, lust, love and even some magic. A little something for everyone, the story is well told, the plot intense yet easy to follow. As the fourth book of the series, the author does a great job filling in the backstory as needed, and the banter between characters is entertaining. The connection between Jody and Cruz sizzles! The inner monologue was a bit much in certain areas, but not enough to detract from the overall enjoyment of the story. Colorful detail, whit, passion, and adventure abound on every page, making sure the reader will not want to put this book down!
