Fire Warrior(Dark Warrior Alliance#14)

Genre:
Paranormal

Take a vampire princess and a fire demon, throw fated mating into the mix, and look out for the explosion to happen.  Breslin may be a princess, but she’s as likely as not to take her warrior skills and skewer anyone who attempts to give her a hearts and flowers type of love.  Rhett is a fun-night-in-the-sack type of guy.  When Breslin and Rhett give in to their baser needs, they discover they are fated mates. Fire demons are wanderers, and Rhett has no idea what being a fated mate to the vampire princess means.  Breslin will not tell him the dark secret of what being a fated mate means. How long will each suffer until they come to their senses?

Breslin and Rhett’s love is rocky and raw at times, as they learn how to trust each other with their hearts.  Readers will truly feel deep emotional scars these lovers must both overcome to be together.  Some readers may find the inconsistent use of Scottish-accented words throughout the story distracting, but the unique abilities of the main characters are refreshing.  Readers may be frustrated by the ending, as the main characters’ story comes to fruition, but it continues on with the next story, leaving the reader hanging unless one reads the next book.  The story’s passionate scenes burn hotter than a campfire! The authors did a great job creating a paranormal world that is believable and creative. An edgy read!
