FANTASY:  This story begins with a little background and progresses into an active adventure that combines witches, warlocks and many other unearthly creatures. The setting is in England in 1815 where Lord Braden, a church guard, meets up with Merryn Pendraven, a witch and the Coven Protectress of Britain. They are both unknowingly headed to the same place in Wales to find a lost boy and the attraction between them starts out slow and escalates when danger is near. The adventure takes turns and slowly progresses to a magical romance between them. However, there are secrets between them and they must learn to be careful of each other and protect those around them.

Readers will find themselves engrossed in witchcraft and magic and church rules and surprises at every turn. Sometimes it seems that things are progressing very slowly, but then the reader is sent to another scene that doesn’t make any sense with new characters and then is sent back to continue on in the story. This is very confusing to the reader as this happens several times. Then the secrets slowly come out and all the other characters come together in an enlightening fashion to make a very magical and believable story. Readers will be astonished and will be gratified with the combination in the end of this endearing story.
