Somewhere My Lady (Ladies in Time Book 1)

PARANORMAL/TIME TRAVEL:  When she accepted a job at Harrison Hall Lorna Randolph had no idea of the adventure awaiting her the moment she stepped through the front door. What she thinks is her first meeting with Hart — when he slips a note into her hand and places a kiss on her lips — turns out to be the beginning of a crazy and exciting journey.  Hart and Lorna must navigate between the 18th century during the American Revolution and the present day in order to solve a mystery, while rediscovering a love affair two centuries in the making. 

“Somewhere My Lady” is an enduring love story that bridges the gap of time.  From the opening scene, Ms. Trissel thrusts her readers directly into the action, introducing them to the strange goings on at Harrison House.  The time travel aspect is interesting, however little consistency in how and when it works takes away from the uniqueness of the plot device.  Ultimately, though, the chemistry between Lorna and Hart, along with the mystery the two must solve, makes up for the wonky fantasy aspects.  By the last third of the book, readers will be so invested in the story's resolution they will not be able to put it down!
