From Geek to Greek Billionaire

While working a banquet after high school graduation, Olivia Moore and Alexander Anderson’s spark of chemistry explodes in a linen closet causing both of them to lose their virginity.  Unfortunately, a rumor sends Alexander running to Greece and Olivia broken hearted. Ten years later while back in that same beach community for a renovation job, designer Olivia runs into Alex, literally, while out for her morning jog.  Still smarting from the heartbreak he caused, Oliva wants nothing to do with Alex.e He convinces her that he needs her help to make him over to impress a woman he has invented to spend time with Olivia.  When Olivia finds out she’s been had, she is understandably angry at Alex.  He convinces her to give him a shot, and a relationship between them blossoms.  Unfortunately, the secrets that Olivia holds may prove too much for the emotionally fragile Alex.  Will Alex be able to overcome his fears and support Olivia the way she deserves?

This novel is an expansion of a novella appearing in the Billionaires on the Beach box series.  While this novel stands alone, there is a lot of backstory that is alluded to but not expanded on that makes the reader feel like they’re missing something. Olivia is a strong, well-written character whose secrets are sure to touch the hearts of many. Unfortunately, a weak hero, continuity errors and awkward dialogue paired with unusually advanced vocabulary words interrupt the flow of the story and prevent the reader from becoming truly immersed. This interesting group of characters may be best enjoyed as part of the novella series.
