After 30 years of marriage and an ugly divorce Olivia Petersen is now happily engaged to the love of her life, Ash Harper. Shortly after they return from a romantic Parisian trip, they are shocked to learn that one of Ash’s twin sons has been critically injured in an accident. Olivia is soon called away to deal with a family crisis of her own. Upon her return, she discovers that Ash has made an important decision without consulting her. Just when it seems as though things are finally settling down, this one decision causes all of Olivia's old insecurities to reappear. Will Olivia fight to salvage her relationship with Ash, or will she let her doubts tear them apart?

The third book in the Out of the Box series, “Out of the Box Everlasting” is a tale of love, family and the blending of two worlds. While the book begins with a strong opening, some readers may be confused by the lack of character backstory provided. With many family members and little to no character introduction, several get lost in the mix. Olivia's personal hang-ups are brought up time and again with monotonous regularity. Nevertheless, the main character conflict is quickly resolved after a few short hours with a therapist. And even though Ash and Olivia are older individuals in their late fifties and early sixties, their dialogue often reads as immature and unnatural. All in all though, fans of this series will be thrilled that Ash and Olivia finally get their happily ever after!
