Sabrina is heartbroken when the man of her dreams, hunky archaeologist Nikos Soulis, unexpectedly leaves Houston to return to his home in Athens. She learns that a serious matter involving stolen jewels and his missing brother sent Nikos scrambling to return home. When Sabrina is offered the opportunity of a lifetime — to become a tour guide in Athens — she jumps at the chance, even if the job is only for a week. The passion between her and Nikos is palpable, but both have a job to do. Will she be able to focus on her work and make amends with the man of her dreams, or will an envious woman who also has her heart set on Nikos destroy Sabrina’s every happiness?

“Olympian Heartbreak” is the second book in a serial trilogy and is full of passion, adventure, and romance. Though this story began in a previous book, author Andrya Bailey provides enough backstory to guide the reader forward without much confusion. However, Sabrina’s love for Nikos feels desperate at times; she is jealous of every woman and pines repeatedly for his attention while he is absorbed in his work and his own life. The novel is also lacking in character development.  There are few descriptions of Sabrina’s appearance or any notable quality aside from her desire for Nikos. Seeing Sabrina with more confidence and self-worth, and better communication between her and Nikos would lend much more depth to the story. The book ends with more questions, leading readers right into a third book, where they will be rooting for Nikos and Sabrina to find their happily ever after!
