Although “Nic (Rossi Brothers Book 2)” can be read as a stand-alone, readers may find it advantageous to read “Luc” first in order to understand the characters and acquire the background information for “Nic.” J. M. Stewart has taken a well-known plot and has made it her own. Her storyline is believable, it is attention catching and will leave one clambering for more. The characters are relatable, they are loveable and can, most definitely, be hated. The flow of the story does slow towards the middle of the book but it swiftly picks back up and continues on at a steady pace. “Nic (Rossi Brothers Book 2)” is a gallant story of love, loss and heroism. Readers will fall in love with J. M. Stewart’s continuation of the “Rossi Brothers.”
