When Grady invites her on a night out, Talia gingerly accepts. Her evil boss, Evie, warns her that he is not boyfriend material and implies that she knows this fact first hand. Guardedly, Talia ignores her boss’s warning and jumps into a relationship with Grady.  After speaking with her boss and discovering a truth that Grady has yet to reveal, Talia is heartbroken.  Could her first instincts have been correct? Has she made the worst mistake of her life?

“Making Him Wild” is a lighthearted romance with enjoyable characters. Talia and Grady’s characters are likeable; however, both characters could have been development more fully. Being a novella, the book is short and to the point. This brevity causes the story to move at an incredibly quick pace, leading to missed opportunities to thoroughly clarify the building relationship between the characters.  Though the romance Talia and Grady share in the bedroom is on fire, the book ends abruptly without any solid conclusion. Nonetheless, the first full-length novel in the series is currently available which may give readers a more in-depth look into the lives of these delightful characters.
