Poetry Corner: The Nature of Your Memory

Kimberly Harden
Weinberg

Comfortable Spring of seemingly eternal blossoms serene.

Cruelly, instantly, severed by shards of broken icicles shattering dreams.

Creeping blanket of compassionate beams.

Brilliant bursts of plummeting colors

Unbearable ache for loss of splendor.

Raging electrical storms of thunderous pain.

Showers of gentle joyous rain.

Nourishing dripping of poignant dew.

The Nature of your memory evaporates and repeats and Spring's renewed.
