For the Love of Grammar

As a publishing professional, I am privileged to work with authors in various stages of their careers; from fresh-faced newbies to battle-hardened veterans. (Or should I say, review-hardened veterans?) A lot of those veterans who have gone through the New York trials are now thrilled to be self-publishing, as they now have total control of their books, control of their marketing, pricing, you name it.  They may or may not do everything themselves, they may or may not choose to outsource logistics to professionals like myself, but one thing they do have for certain; they’ve honed their writing craft. Because you see...(huge industry secret, ready?)…no matter how fancy the cover or pretty the print, the craft of writing is a weapon honed through thousands of sleepless nights.
