The Con Man

Every year I look through a calendar of events for writers, readers, publishers, agents, artists, and anyone who has anything to do with writing and business of books. There are conferences for just about everything you can imagine, all across the country and around the world. The whole book convention spectrum is insanely colorful. I pick out a couple each year—I try to stay close to home, so I don't get lost somewhere strange and actually have to ask Siri for directions or read a map. (I know, it's a guy thing). Then comes the planning for my adventures into the world of the writing community.
