Pinterest, do you know it? That endless repository of fantastical snowman crafts, two-thousand recipes for Spanish rice, rainbow hair dying techniques, quirky authorless quotes, endless coupon hacks, antique interior barn door hardware sources, fitted sheet folding methods, chalk board art
, eyebrow sculpting trends, the proper booties to wear with boyfriend capris...?  If you’ve managed to avoid this time-sucking wonderland…I’d need to see some sort of proof of that. For most of us, pinning stuff to boards is a “someday project” thing. For the Nurturer, it’s an “everyday to do” thing. Before Pinterest, it was Martha Stewart, right? I even recall watching an episode—I kid you not—where she demonstrated how to sweep properly. This maven of nest feathering was the go-to source for everything befitting a proper homemaker. Which means most of us either hated or loved her. Nurturers are the selfless among us, who quietly contribute more to society than most. And definitely more than they’ll ever be thanked for.
